With it's legacy in Burgundy royalty etched as far back as the early 16th century, the d'Angerville estate has continued to re-establish its celebrated name through many generations. Guillaume d'Angerville heads the domaine after decades of tutelage under his father Jacques who had over fifty vintages under his belt. The domaine played a formative role of the reawakening of Burgundy in the 1970's and 80's led by their monopole vineyard 'Clos des Ducs' in Volnay. Possessing over one-third of the Premier Cru 'Champans', one of Volnay's most expressive sites, chez d'Angerville has ideal exposure contributing to a wine of great length with darker fruit and alluring spice notes.
