Warranty: All DW fuel pumps come with a 3-year comprehensive warranty for the original purchaser. The exception is the OE replacement DW100, which includes a limited lifetime warranty.

Ethanol Compatibility: DW pumps are compatible with ethanol-based fuels like E85. Using such fuels does not void the warranty. Notably, the DW300, DW300c, and DW350iL models have design features that enhance lifespan when used with ethanol fuels.

Pump Sizing: The appropriate fuel pump size depends on factors such as power, fuel type, and fuel pressure. DW provides an online fuel pump calculator to help estimate the suitable pump size for specific applications.

Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) Compatibility: All in-tank DW fuel pumps utilize turbine impellers, making them compatible with PWM controllers. However, DW in-line fuel pumps are positive displacement pumps and are not compatible with PWM controllers.

Boost-A-Pump (BAP) Usage: DW pumps can be used with a BAP to increase voltage temporarily during high-demand conditions. They have been tested at voltages ranging from 12V to 20V. It's recommended not to exceed 20V or run increased voltage for more than 120 seconds.

Operating Pressures: DW pumps feature a pressure relief valve that opens beyond 100 psi. While they can operate at higher pressures, flow rates decrease as pressure increases. DW provides online flow vs. pressure data for all their fuel pumps.

GDI Engine Compatibility: In Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) systems, DW pumps can serve as higher-flowing upgrades to the original in-tank lift pumps, complementing the high-pressure crank-driven pumps in these systems.

Installation Considerations: When available, it's recommended to use DW application-specific kits for optimal fitment and performance. If a specific kit isn't listed, universal pump kits may suffice for installation needs.
