Power Assemblies’ Type W Pigtails are constructed of 4/0 AWG, fully annealed 2107 Stranded Bare Copper, and are rated for a maximum of 400 amps. Type W Pigtails could not be more user-friendly, as they’re equipped with a Series 16 Camlock that incorporates a twist-and-lock component for reliable connectivity on one end of the cable, whereas the opposite end of the cable can be prepared blunt, tinned, or crimped with a single hole long barrel lug to make your terminations as simple as possible. Double hole lugs are available upon request as well.

The available customizations of our 400A pigtails make them a staple product that should always be kept on hand for temporary power connections. While connected, these pigtails are rated NEMA 3R which makes them ideal for both indoor and outdoor hookups. Our pigtail cables are often used to connect a generator to a distribution panel or even tap into long runs of cable assemblies.

Resistant to sunlight, water, oil, acids, heat, flames, moisture, alkalies, and chemicals, these pigtail cables were designed to withstand even the most severe environmental conditions.  All components meet or exceed flame test requirements of MSHA, ICEA, and UL.
