The Meindl Vakuum GTX is a high quality hill-walking boot that incorporates Meindl Vakuum technologies to provide a personalised fit and superb comfort. Following tradition, the Vakuum GTX is constructed by hand in Meindl’s German factory using the finest quality Nubuck leather, giving durability whilst maintaining suppleness. An additional rubber band around the boot enhances protection across all terrains. The Meindl Vakuum technology provides a Memory Foam System throughout the uppers and footbed, using body heat to mold to your foot and give you a customised fit. This provides support and comfort whilst reducing pressure on the Achilles when walking downhill. The Digafix lacing system enables for the laces to be adjusted for hill-walking, further enhancing comfort and providing a secure hold. Equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane to guarantee waterproofing, an Air-Active footbed for breathability, and a Meindl Multigriff rubber sole (developed with Vibram) for excellent grip, this walking boot is suitable for hill-walking all year-round.
