Features

FOILTEC Product Installation

• STEP 1: Make sure the base is level, smooth, clean, and dry
• STEP 2: Use flexible adhesive, butyl tape, MS polymer adhesive, or waterproof glue to seal any overlaps between FOILTEC, its attachments, and any vulnerable regions.
• STEP 3: Before installation, trim the membrane to the proper length. Use a 10 cm overlap along floor-to-wall junctions and a 5 cm overlap in other membrane areas.
• STEP 4: Apply the waterproof membrane to the flooring using the proper tile adhesive and a trowel with a 3mm x 3mm notched edge.
• STEP 5: Using butyl tape, MS polymer adhesive, or waterproof glue, check and confirm that vital portions or corners are waterproofed.
• STEP 6: Lay the flooring tiles directly over the FOILTEC membrane using tile adhesive.
