The MuffBites offer versatile options for creating one-of-a-kind sound dampening effects. Featuring a black felt rim and vintage corduroy fabric, these mutes cover approximately one third of the drumhead and retain the drum's original sound.

The RimMount system utilizes magnets to securely hold the MuffBites in place on any steel hoop, while also enabling their use on the resonance side of the drum. These mutes effectively minimize overtones, reduce sustain, and provide a precise and dry sound with a distinctive bite.

Each MuffBite comes with three metal clamps, specifically designed for use with a die cast hoop. The clamps feature a foam lining for enhanced grip and protection of the hoop.

When using on drums with die cast hoops, the magnets on the MuffBites will not stick. However, by attaching the included clamps, the magnets will have a secure spot to attach to. Lined with foam on the inside, the clamps will protect your rim and keep things securely in place.
