How Do I Use the Hoist Sling?

The Hoist Sling is attached by positive locking universal clips that provide secure attachment to hoists with four point positioning cradles. The rear of the sling also features a handle, which can assist with patient manoeuvring when the caregiver is working in a confined space.

Superior Patient Comfort and Dignity

To assure superior levels of dignity and comfort to the patient, the Cromptons TransLift Hoist Sling features:

• Padded and quilted legs for greater support and comfort
• A modesty loop on the right leg to help prevent the patient's leg from splaying
• A two part head support, padded for additional comfort, which can be folded in half to allow easy insertion behind the patient

Maintenance of the Cromptons PS Hoist Sling

TransLift PS Hoist Slings are patient specific, which means they are designed for single patient use and then disposed of when soiled or no longer required. They are not intended for laundering. If washed, the wash warning indicator becomes visible, indicating the sling should no longer be used.
