Holy smokes! Planning on building a roll cage for your scout, but don't want that intrusive tube coming down right through the cab? Our custom fit support legs aka "thunder thighs" are engineered and laser cut from 5/16" steel plate to fit snug but secure right along your dash, giving you the strength you need and the interior space you deserve. They require a foot plate to be welded on along with two gussets to distribute any load over to the frame mount. They attach using the existing body mount holes with extended bolts through the floor as well as a bolt through the side wall for lateral security and to gain the additional strength of the A-pillar.

Unlike most cage designs, these plates allow you to maintain the ability to use the stock clutch pedal, window crank, e-brake release and light switch. These legs will give your cage a sleek discreet look without compromising safety. Works for Scout II, Terra and Traveler.
