Jotun Hardtop Flexi is a chemically curing aliphatic acrylic polyurethane coating suitable for use as a topcoat in atmospheric conditions. In marine environments, this product is recommended for container deck, superstructure and topside applications. It’s also suitable for refineries, offshore environments, bridges, buildings and power plants. If you work in any of these settings, it’s also worthwhile noting that Jotun Hardtop Flexi can be used on a wide selection of industrial structures too.

Features: 

A two component, high solid, compliant, flexible polyurethane coating with good gloss and colour retention. Hardtop Flexi can be used as a single coat system in atmospheric corrosivity classes C2 and C3. It can also be used as a topcoat in classes C2 - C4 and C5-I and C5-M on various primers and as maintenance coating on old paint surfaces.

Hardtop Flexi has a good impact resistance and painted objects can be stacked after short drying time. The product has corrosion protection and is also suitable as a single product system for maintenance application when both corrosion protection and topcoat performance are desired.

With Low VOCs, application of single coats up to 150 microns and fast drying add to the special features of Hardtop Flexi. This is one of the few products that contain anti-corrosive pigments for the best direct to metal performance.

What to consider before purchasing Jotun Hardtop Flexi

Hardtop Flexi is resistant to spills of aliphatic petroleum products, most oils and chemicals that are non-aggressive. We recommend storing this aliphatic acrylic polyurethane solution in accordance with the national regulations. This includes storing the containers and pots in a cool, dry and well ventilated area while ensuring the lid is kept tightly shut. We also advise users to keep Jotun Hardtop Flexi away from sources of ignition and heat.

Note: Hardtop Flexi should be handled with care by professional applicators. You must avoid skin contact and use a suitable cleanser (or soap and water) if skin contact does occur. Flush your eyes with water if the spray mist comes into direct contact with your face.
