Model 88-5 FBTR torch-type FlashGuard flashback arrestor prevents the reverse flow of gases with built-in check valves. It extinguishes flashback fire with a Stainless Steel sintered element. The 100 micron inlet filter helps keep dust and dirt out. Due to flow capacity, this model should not be used with tip sizes larger than: #5 hand cutting tips (except #4 NFF tip), #5.5 machine cutting tips, #4 acetylene heating tips, #2 alternate fuel heating tips and #2 RBP cleaning head (no limitation with RBA). This model features 9/16" -18 CGA "B" size connections. It is for use with oxygen.
