Navajo artist Herman Smith made this beautiful and unique hummingbird pin/pendant. The piece is filled with a beautiful vibrant blue Kingman Turquoise stone and two Red Spiny Oyster stones. Surrounding the stones you will find signature Herman Smith silver, heavy and traditionally styled. You will find stamp work, silver drops, hammered beads, and bump outs. The finishing beak completes the piece and just gives it a wonderful look. Hummingbirds fill gardens in the Southwest during the summertime and Herman has done a perfect job of capturing the magnificent beauty of the bird and this rare still position.
