Classic Circa 1972 Sheaffer Sterling Silver Imperial 14k Fine Nib Fountain Pen Certified [Zzgj3VPW]

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Near Mint Condition Circa 1972 Sheaffer White Dot Imperial Fountain Pen in the Sterling Silver Diamond Grid pattern. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned, put back together, and is now in great writing condition.

The cap and barrel are perfect with no scratches, dings, dents, or repairs. The fountain pen has an ink converter filling unit and works as it was designed to - I tested it with water and works perfectly. The cap lip is stamped with, STERLING SILVER SHEAFFER CROWN LOGO SHEAFFER U.S.A.". The cap is always securing to the barrel. This fountain pen measures 5 1/4" capped and 5 3/4" posted. 

This Sheaffer has a FINE 14K Inlaid Nib with the actual iridium tipping on this Sheaffer Nib measuring roughly .62mm when measured with digital calipers. When writing a sample with this NIB, it writes with a fine to broad stroke/line. In the writing sample provided, the fine line measures at .51mm and can flex up to a broad line of 1.10mm under medium to firm pressure when measured with digital calipers. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was performed by dipping the Nib in Montblanc Blue Ink. This fountain pen writes with a smooth line. 

This fountain pen comes with the Sheaffer box which is in good condition.
