Selling Out Circa 1953 Sheaffer Clipper Fiesta Red Snorkel F Nib Fountain Pen Restored Premium Build [HCs9Iztn]

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Restored Circa 1953 Sheaffer Clipper Snorkel Fountain Pen in the scarce Fiesta Red color with a conical Palladium Silver nib. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned, and put back together and now is in wonderful operating and writing condition.

This fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks, teeth marks or repairs with the cap always securing to the barrel. The cap is the two-tone style with perfect condition gold filled clip and cap banding. The barrel is stamped, "W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO. FORT MADISON, IOWA U.S.A. MADE IN U.S.A.". The back of the cap is stamped, "SHEAFFER'S - MADE IN U.S.A.". There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. There is no brassing or wear to the cap or the gold-filled clip and cap banding. The snorkel tube moves freely and draws ink as it should. This Sheaffer Snorkel measures 5 1/2" in length capped and 6 1/2" posted.

I have ultrasonically cleaned the NIB, section, and feed. Hand polished the 2-Tone Cap, Clip, and Palladium Silver Nib. The Sheaffer White Dot is securely attached in the clip. I have cleaned, buffed, and polished the barrel, cap, and blind cap to bring back the vibrancy and to protect the material of the fountain pen. The 2-tone Cap is in magnificent condition with dents. This Sheaffer Pen has been disassembled, cleaned, and inspected for any defects before reassembling.

The Snorkel Touchdown Filling System has been restored and we installed a new rubber sac, o-ring, and point seal - all been replaced with correct reproduction parts. The snorkel tube moves freely and the Touchdown filling system draws ink as it should.

The Palladium-silver Alloy F4 Conical NIB has a fine point measuring roughly .55mm when measuring with digital calipers. In the writing sample provided, the NIB writes with a fine to medium line which measures roughly .55mm to .61mm when measuring with digital calipers. isted for sale by dipping the NIB in Parker Quink Blue Ink. Any specks of white in the images are from the cotton that I used to clean the barrel and cap.
