For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Restored Circa 1928 Parker Flattop Lucky Curve Senior Duofold Fountain Pen in Red Permanite. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, ultrasonically cleaned, put back together, and is now in wonderful writing condition.

I have ultrasonically cleaned the nib, feed, and section. Replaced the old sac with a new rubber sac. Hand polished the Gold Filled Parker Clip, Double Ring Cap Banding, and 14K Duofold NIB. Cleaned, Buffed, and Polished the barrel, blind cap and cap to bring back the vibrancy of fountain pen and to protect the celluloid. This Parker Duofold is the Senior Size and measures 5 3/8" capped and 6 7/8" posted.

The fountain pen cap, barrel, and blind cap are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The Cap has a Gold Filled Parker Clip with PARKER stamped and has been polished to shine brightly - there is only the very slightest of wear on the ball of the clip and at the very top of the clip. The double ring cap banding displays rich gold filled color with only a hint of wear on the lowest edging of the bottom ring. The barrel is stamped with, "GEO. S. PARKER PARKER DUOFOLD FOUNTAIN PEN JANESVILLE, WIS LUCKY CURVE U.S.A. PAT. 4-25-11. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. The cap and barrel are super clean with no discoloration and consistent coloring between the cap and barrel.

This Duofold is a Button Filler and has been tested with water and fills as it should. The filling unit operates as it was originally intended.

The Parker NIB is 14K with a PARKER DUOFOLD PEN imprint. I cannot stress this enough - the nib on this pen writes very smooth. The actual writing portion of the 14K Parker NIB has a broad point measuring roughly .93mm when measured with digital calipers. When writing a sample with this NIB, it writes with a medium broad stroke/line. In the writing sample provided, the medium line measures between .75mm to .87mm when measuring with digital calipers. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Montblanc Blue Ink.

This is an Iconic vintage Parker Duofold Fountain Pen in the Senior size and is a gorgeous example from Parker that is very clean with a smooth writing nib. I would consider this Parker grade in Very Fine to Excellent Condition. It is ready to write or just add it to your writing arsenal collection.
