The Montblanc Meisterstuck Black Prisma Fountain Pen combines the sleek gleam of platinum on the pen body with the black, high-tech ceramic Prisma crafted into the cap. Most appealing about the material, which comes from the world of precision engineering, is the look and feel of its textured, geometric surface. The handcrafted, 18k gold nib with platinum inlay will provide you with a smooth, more fluid writing experience. This fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks, denting, or repairs with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The cap is stamped with "GERMANY", Serial Number "BS1037130" and on the clip lip, "MONTBLANC MEISTERSTUCK". The top of the cap has the World-Renowned Snowcap. The barrel is highly polished with a Platinum finish - the original "Fine" sticker is still attached to the barrel. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. This Montblanc Classique Prisma Fountain Pen measures 5 1/2" in length capped and 6" posted.

This Montblanc has an Ink Converter Filling Unit that is original to the pen and has never been inked. The Ink Converter has been tested with water and works as it was designed to.

This Montblanc Prisma has a Handcrafted 18K Gold Nib with Platinum inlay. The Nib point (iridium) measures at .72mm when measuring with digital calipers. Typically, these Nibs write wonderfully but I have not dip tested it as to keep it in New Old Stock condition in case someone would like to present the pen as a gift.

Any specks of white in the images are from the cotton that I used to clean the barrel and cap.
