We are extremely excited to announce this new Billet Reed Valve for all Big Block Taylor and ALX Reed Valve engines!  

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: You must totally retune your engine for this high flow reed.  Base Rich setting on the WJ146 is 2 1/4 turns out on Low needle and the High setting at 1 1/8 turns out. Most engine sizes ended up about 1 turn out on the High for peak power.

This Reed fits all Taylor 40-80cc, Diablo 88cc and all ALX engines which share the same 4 bolt pattern for the reed!

6 months of R&D with Bonehead RC for the fine tuning and petal development has resulted in a reed valve that offers 500rpm more than the V Force system and the only place is sacrifices power is in the un-used 3000-8500rpm range (below the clutch engagement for a Big Bore RC engine!)

The strong billet design also solves the issue that happens now and again with plastic reeds where the cage cracks on engine kickback. or when a over-length bolt is used to hold the carb on and it breaks the cage. 

Moto Tassinari V-Force reeds are amazing bits of kit but were mostly developed for the Motorcycle scene where low and mid range power is essential. However in RC we tend to have high rpm engagement clutches and very high rpm limits, so we need a reed that can flow more at peak opening!  This new Taylor reed does just that!
