Level 3: Intermediate. Open to students who are confident using a sewing machine and ready to tackle garment construction with expert guidance. This class is ideal for those who have completed our Introduction to Machine Sewing or a Level 2 skills class.

This all-day freestyle session is designed for stitchers working on dressmaking projects who want guidance and support in a social sewing environment. Whether you’re unsure about making the first cut or struggling with a difficult technique, feel free to bring your project at any stage for a relaxed day of supportive stitching.

Please note that completing a garment in just one day is typically not feasible. However, this class is designed to guide you through challenging aspects of the process and boost your confidence. Although you may not finish your garment, you will leave with valuable knowledge, mastered techniques, and the motivation to complete it at home.

Materials: Please bring along your project of choice. All sundry notions can be provided.

Booking a class at Ray Stitch entitles you to 10% off everything in-store for one week. Our team is happy to help advise on fabric and supplies for your project.

Cancellation Policy

Our classes are non refundable. Due our small class sizes it is very difficult to transfer your booking to a different date. If you cannot attend a class and are able to notify us at least two weeks before the class starts, it may be possible to fit you in on another date but this is not guaranteed so please give us as much notice as possible to increase your chances.

In the event that we need to cancel a class, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer either a full refund or an alternative booking date.
