The Pilot Capless (Vanishing Point) Carbonesque Black is a well-weighted fountain pen, with a Pilot's famed retractable ultra-smooth 18 carat gold nib. It features a very popular modern carbon fibre-type design.

The click mechanism advances or retracts the nib into the body of the pen where a seal closes behind it to prevent drying out. It comes supplied with a (removable) piston converter for use with bottled ink, or Pilot IC-50 cartridges can be used if the simple cartridge swap method is preferred.

Please note, its nib is thinner than the European standard.
