Cupressus Sempervirens 'totem' is called as such for its rather tall and thin growing habit, ending with a shape that looks not too dissimilar from that of a totem. Its often referred to as the 'italian' cypress, and has a distinct mediterranean feel about it, often being seen lining the roads of italian country lanes.

The plant's growth rate and size will vary depending on planting position & conditions.
