The Forged ML-10RT is the answer for enthusiasts craving a wheel design that combines classic motorsport styling with modern monoblock forging technology. This wheel was initially developed in the shadows by one of our Senior Engineers exclusively for his BMW E46 M3 widebody race car, and after sharing photos of the prototypes on social media, we received an overwhelming amount of interest from the community to bring it to market.

Just like our existing flagship motorsport designs, the ML-10RT was designed from the ground up by our team of in-house engineers and underwent the same extensive FEA analysis and third party testing. It’s made from the highest grade 10K ton forged 6061-T6 aluminum, and utilizes true motorsport blanks, which is a vital component in our ability to deliver vehicle-specific optimizations like maximum concavity, optimal spoke design and critical brake clearance. The end result is a perfect blend of weight savings, added stiffness and strength, all while staying true to the classic motorsport design language we all love. The ML-10RT also sports our reinforced Sprint Spec inner lip and a 1600lb (1650lb for Porsche applications) load rating, which is the same lip design and load ratings we use for our popular Forged Sprint Line.

There has been a tremendous amount of excitement internally for this new wheel design, and we agonized over some of the finer details to ensure we put forth the best possible version. After closely examining over 10,000 survey responses from enthusiasts equally passionate about the ML-10RT, we incorporated a flush center cap support that allows you to either install center caps (Apex or OEM), or omit them entirely for a more raw motorsport look depending on your personal preference. The ML-10RT joins our Touring Line of forged wheels, and is our first forged wheel to feature a machined lip which really makes it a standout design within the Apex catalog. The Apex Forged Touring Line represents the perfect blend of aesthetic styling and Real Performance. This line gives our engineers the creative freedom to pursue a wide array of wheel designs inspired by motorsports and other forms of automotive beauty, and while many manufacturers within this arena allow form to supersede function, we’re unwilling to neglect performance metrics like strength and stiffness.
