• Exposed wood surfaces should be dusted weekly using a clean, damp cotton cloth.
• We recommend polishing wood monthly using high-quality, non-silicone wax. Allow polish to dry completely before replacing any objects on the surface. Avoid the use of silicone furniture sprays.
• Make sure to polish or dust with a motion that follows the grain of the wood to avoid scratching the surface.
• Glasses, cups, or hot objects should not be placed directly on the surface. Use a coaster, trivet, or place mat when possible. Ensure that any spill is wiped away immediately with a soft, clean cloth.
• Avoid placing fine wood furnishings near radiators, vents, or fireplaces or in direct sunlight, as this may create fine lines on surfaces and cause veneers to fade.
• Steel should be dusted and wiped clean using high-quality furniture polish twice monthly.
• Avoid using soap and water or any water-based cleaning products on steel, as this may cause rusting.
• Wipe glass clean with a soft, damp cloth.
