The new addition of the up and down switch lets you choose which part of the sweep you want to emphasize. Guitarists will love the “UP” setting for classic envelope quack. Bassists will love the “DOWN” setting for big, dub sub thunder. True bypass allows your guitar tone to remain pristine even when the DOD 440 is off. This is a big difference from the original which would color your bypassed tone. The modern 9V DC power supply input make the pedal more pedalboard friendly.
